Every evening we found a little animal in our room made out of towels. This gives you an idea of some of the images.

On the ship we had free dinning which means that we can eat with other people in different restaurants. Here is a picture of the Garden Room or cafeteria. Bernice is with Alan and Sharon.

On the upper deck of the ship there was a court to play basketball, soccer and other games. There was an exercise room and other nice things to do.

This swimming pool was on the upper deck of the ship. We will include some other pictures of the ship to give an idea of how we spent the ten days of the cruise.

On October 8, 2008, we left the New York Harbor on a ten-day cruise to Quebec, Canada, and other and other beautiful northern harbors . We passed the Statue of Libertty that can be seen here in this picture.

We were in Halifax, Nova Scotia, on October 11, 2008. It was our privilege to take a ferry to Dartmouth and visit the temple. It was closed for cleaning but we were able to see the outside. It is very beautiful.

We took a taxi out to a beautiful waterfall while we were in Quebec, Canada, October 13,2008. Quebec is a very beautiful city and we were there at a time when we could enjoy the color of the fall leave.

This is a picture taken from the ship as we pulled into the harbor. It is Le Chateau de Frontonac a very beautiful hotel. We had the opportunity to take a guided tour of the hotel and learn about it history.

We were recently in Boston on a cruise and enjoyed following the Liberty Trail that took us past the statue of Paul Revere. We enjoyed learning more about the history of our country. This picture was taken October 10, 2008.

We did manage to catch a few nice fish during the summer. This one was twenty-two inches long and almost four pounds. We managed to land it without a net but bought a net to help with those that followed.

Each spring and fall we travel from Mesa, Arizona, and back. We choose to go via the Hoover Dam so we can see the progress made on the bypass bridge. This is an absolute marvel and the engineers are to be commended for their knowledge and ingenuity. Bernice is not sure it will be safe enough to drive on but I'm anxious to try it.
