Timothy Jackson was lucky enough to catch a fish when he and his family visited at Echo Island Resort near Coalville, Utah, July 2006. Posted by Picasa

Kent Jackson was with us in Honduras as a missionary. He was one of my assistants at the time we finished out mission. He and his family visited us at Echo Island Resort in Coalville, Utah. Here he is swimming with his oldest son Jeffrey his youngest son Aaron. I think the picture was taken in July of 2006. Posted by Picasa

When we visited the palace in Versaille, France, we found a long room with eighty paintings of famous battles. While the paintings are very impressive, it is difficult to understand human reasoning. Dominion by brute force has been man's history for centuries and it doesn't appear that things have changed very much through the years. Posted by Picasa

We had the privilege of attending the temple in Madrid, Spain, May 12, 2004, before we went on our cruise to Mersaille, France, and three different places in Italy: Florence, Rome and Naples. Posted by Picasa

Alan Bingham had an article stating that Hemingway ate at a particular restaurant just off of the Plaza Mayor in the heart of Madrid, Spain. Alan was determined to find the place so we made a diligent effort to locate it. When we found it, the sign said that Hemingway never ate there. I think that was more impressive than if he had eaten there. Posted by Picasa

Here I am visiting Mt St Helen area standing on the highway with a lake in the distance. It is my understanding that this lake was created as a result of the volcanic erruption in 1982. A lot of trees have been planted but evidence of the devistation is still apparent. Posted by Picasa

Carol Holcomb and Bernice standing by what remains of a tree that was brought down by the irruption of Mt St Helen. We visited the area in September 2006. Posted by Picasa

In September we visited Mt St Helen's visitor center and saw the extent of the devistation caused by the erruption of the volcano. Posted by Picasa
