Jack and Marg Small are here with Evelyna Cabezas and her little Victoria. This was taken in the home of Floyd and Leola Leavitt recently in a reunion of the Cochabamba Bolivia Temple missionaries. We have know the Smalls for many years and consider them among our very best friends. We see them every summer when we head north to escape the hot weather here in Arizona.

Evelyna and Gonzalo Cabezas are seen here with their little Victoria in the Leavitt's home during a reunion of the Cochabamba Bolivia Temple missionaries. Gonzalo has a degree in medicine and wishes to become licensed to practice in the US. They are living with Carl and Shirley Cole for a time. You can see me and Bernice as well. The Smalls were with us from Utah. Coles were present. Canedy came from California. Bowmans were there as well as Vaterlaus and Driggs. Dyers were also there and Deon Buttler.

This is a picture of some of the missionaries who served with us in Cochabamba. From left to right we have Bernice, a young couple we can't remember, Floyd and Leola Leavitt, Matti and Hayden Dyer and Deon Buttler. We have some later pictures that we will put into the blogspot. It is fun to get together with them. It has been five years since we left Bolivia. This past Sunday we attended the ward where Evan and Sylvia Haywood reported their mission. They presided over the temple for the past three years.

Here we are, Bernice, Carolee and VerNon on the Greek Island cruise the first part of October 2007. To be on the same cruise with Carolee and here friend was a real coincidence. We could not have planned it any better even if we had tried. Miracles never cease to happen. To eat dinner with them every night made the trip even more enjoyable than we had hoped.

It seems that I am able to write things but have had difficulty posting pictures. The lastest news we have is that Bernice finally got her wish for a new kitchen floor and a new refrigerator. She has been doing a lot of painting of the cabinets as well. This has been a lot of work for VerNon because we ended up removing the old flooring in the kitchen and utility. We found a water leak in the utility so there was plumbing an sheetrock replacement as well. Things do look nice so we are happy and have a lot for which to be thankful.

VerNon is now involved in the name extraction progam doing names from Mexico. This is time consuming but very satisfying. In fact, it can be a real challenge at times.

We are getting ready for our family trip to Rocky Point, Mexico. It is going to be fun having a lot of the family members here with us at Christmas time. A couple of weeks ago, we drove to Rocky Point to check out our hotel reservations. We should be very comfortable in the Playa Inn. There isn't a whole lot to do or see so we will do what someone said, "Just hang-out". We hope every one enjoys a Happy Thanksgiving.

October 6, 2007, Bernice and I took a trip to the Greek Islands because I have always wanted to visit Athens and see the Acropolis. Here we are at the Parthonon.
