A lot has happened since February. We spent time with Brenda in Corinne. She underwent another operation and was so full of cancer that there was nothing they could do except try to keep her comfortable. They said she could live six weeks or six months. She passed away March 12, 2006, at 4:30 a.m. That was a Sunday morning. Robert said, "Brenda made sure she died early enough so we wouldn't miss Sacrament Meeting." He funeral was the following Saturday. There was a special spiritual feeling during the service. She had planned every thing and it happened just as she had planned.
We are back in Mesa and have been planning a trip back to Branson, Missouri, for November 24. We are taking a group of forty-two people to the Christmas shows. We will fly to Kansas City and go from there to Branson by motor coach. We will see six shows and visit Silver Dollar City. People are excited and we already have over thirty people signed up to go.
We leave next Saturday, April 22, 2006, to go to Galveston, Texas, where we will leave on a cruise the following Monday for Panama with several nice port stops along the way.
